ddd Manufacturing Competitive Enhancement Programme(MCEP) Online applications now open for this key programme
After successful programmes in the textile industry the dti has now introduced a similar programme for manufacturers. Online applications for the Department of Trade & Industry's (dti), Manufacturing Competitiveness Enhancement Programme (MCEP), are open. Click here to apply.
The Manufacturing Competitiveness Enhancement Programme (MCEP), one of the key action programmes of the Industrial Policy Action Plan (IPAP) 2012/13 – 2014/15, will provide enhanced manufacturing support to encourage manufacturers to upgrade their production facilities in a manner that sustains employment and maximises value-addition in the short to medium term.
The MCEP comprises two sub-programmes: the Production Incentive (PI) & the Industrial Financing Loan Facilities, which will be managed by the dti and the Industrial Development Corporation respectively.

Paperwork for incentive funding is onerous and at times confusing.
