Join Environ and support brave and beautiful women who are fighting cancer
Environ is offering all consumers a chance to unzip real beauty and join Environ to support brave and beautiful women who are fighting cancer. In 2012 Environ will donate more than R1 million worth of products to the Look Good Feel Better Foundation
More about Look Good Feel Better
One in four South African women will face cancer during her lifetime. The Look Good Feel Better Foundation helps women in active cancer treatment to address the appearance, self-confidence and related side effects of their treatment. With dynamic interactive workshops held at all major hospitals and clinics, practical ways of empowering and restoring beauty are presented.
Environ is proud to be a founding sponsor of Look Good Feel Better and consistently donates products to the Look Good Feel Better workshop programme. Some people may look glamorous, but it’s those who share who have real beauty – the kind that comes from inside. And in July, Environ’s Look Good Feel Better month, Environ is making it possible for everyone to achieve true beauty by participating in this caring campaign, offering all consumers a chance to “unzip real beauty.”
How to unzip real beauty
Getting involved in this empowering project is simple; when a consumer purchases either two Ionzyme or two Intensive products she receives the distinctive “Unzip the Beauty” bag as a token of her participation.
A matching bag containing Environ products will be donated by Environ to a cancer patient on the consumer’s behalf.
The bag containing Environ products will be presented at the Look Good Feel Better workshops and can be utilised as part of the patient’s personal care kit.
Everyone in the “giving chain” gets the opportunity to “unzip real beauty”.
With their Look Good Feel Better month, Environ shows we care and take part tangibly in the beauty of sharing and the beauty of support.
What unzipping the beauty means – share the strength....feel the support
The bag delivers beauty in its literal sense and in the act of doing good. In unzipping the bag, the purchaser allows beauty to be revealed. In receiving one bag, another is shared. The giver is able to feel a sense of caring and the cancer patient is able to feel emotional support from the giver. Because of this support, strength is nourished. Often, individuals with cancer are so focused on fighting their battle that they struggle to accept care from others.
Why unzipped sharing is important
With every purchase the consumer makes, she is helping to lift the spirit of cancer patients and to show them the beauty of humanity.
