CONSIDERED a pioneer in the South African personal care and cosmetics packaging industry, Consupaq has a sound reputation for producing top-quality, modern designs in line with international trends.
To kick off the New Year, this award-winning leader has announced a South African ‘first’ with the launch of an oval LDPE tube.
Designed for the high-end cosmetics and personal care sector, the ground-breaking tube can be produced in 30m1 to 250m1 variants, with 30mm, 40mm or 50mm diameter
It’s available in a wide range of colours and, as with all Consupaq products, can be decorated using the latest technologies, including five-colour silkscreen printing, hot foiling and labelling.
In addition, for further enhancement, a variety of textured finishes are offered.
A screw-on or flip-top PP cap is also available in various colours to match the tube’s overall decoration.
‘The oval tube is now being produced to meet global trends,’ comments Robin Rigney, general manager of Consupaq. ‘We’re really seeing growth indemand for convenient sizes and shapes, especially in the sun care product sector. The fresh design, particularly in the 30m1 to I 00mI variants, is ideal for airline travel, where precise size restrictions apply, as well as for cosmetics gift-packs and pharmaceutical applications.’
Part of the Astrapak group since 2005, Consupaq counts among South Africa’s leading manufacturers of injection moulded jars, thick walled cosmetic jars and a full range of mono-layer and multilayer PE tubes for the personal care, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries, designing products and technologies that allow brand owners to achieve distinct competitive advantages.
With several patents to its credit, Consupaq has also been the proud recipient of numerous accolades, including Gold and Silver medals in the Gold Pack Awards.
